Lake House care home resident John Webb has been taking song requests with the Radio Horton team.
He joined Radio Horton volunteers at the Lake House Christmas Fair in Adderbury, gathering requests that were played during the afternoon.
John had been a Radio Horton ward visitor for many years whilst working as a Health Inspector at Cherwell District Council. He said that he enjoyed helping people and being part of the team again.
Radio Horton Care Home Coordinator Julie Baker said: “John is remembered as a dedicated and valued member of the Radio Horton team. Having met up with him over the summer, we thought it would be good to work with him again and share a love of music and the happiness it brings.”
Lake House Activities Coordinator Jo Dixon added: “Residents, family, friends and stallholders appreciated the music, which put us all in the Christmas spirit on a wet and windy afternoon.”
