Radio Horton helps Children’s Ward Celebrate National Play in Hospital Week 2016

Winner of 5 to 9 yrs

National Play in Hospital Week is organised by the National Association of Health Play Specialists (NAHPS) and Starlight Children’s Foundation is delighted to support NPIHW for a sixth year. This special week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of play and activity in the treatment of poorly children and young people. Radio Horton teamed up with the Children’s Ward at Banbury’s Horton General Hospital who held an art competition with winners selected from the following categories: 4yrs and under, 5 to 9yrs, 9 and over.

Radio Horton were asked to judge this years winners with committee member Jen Warren doing the honours. “It was so difficult to choose a winner for each category, but we’re sure you’ll agree that they were all winners”, Jen said.  Photographs of the winning articles can be found below.
