Radio Horton has received a thank you letter for lending a hand on Watford Ye Olde English Fayre. Chairman of the Watford Village Hall Committee, Dan White expressed his gratitude, which can be viewed in the letter below.
Dear Bill,
Thanks for your email and very kind comments. What can I say that’s not already being said by everyone else in the Village? What a brilliant day and it has been hailed a success by the entire community.
To have you, Bob and Su with us was excellent and Radio Horton really were the cohesive point for everything that was happening throughout the day. As Brucey would say “Didn’t they do well!”
I’m glad we were able to produce some typically ‘olde English music’ and I have received many positive comments of how this was not only appropriate but also how everyone knew the tunes to keep the toes tapping throughout the afternoon.
Being our first event of this size has allowed us to, hopefully, learn from it. What worked well – or not so well and what can be improved for next time. Certainly we could not improve upon our decision to ask Radio Horton to partake – You certainly ‘did us proud’ and we will have no hesitation in asking you to attend the next event once we have set the date. Please accept my appreciation for all your hard work and good humour in making the day the wonderful success it was.
Very Best Wishes,
Dan White
Chairman, Watford Village Hall Committee
