Radio Horton is a registered charity and we are very grateful for the generosity and support of the community of Banbury and members of the public who contribute or assist us through donations, fundraising and sponsorship.

The station broadcasts twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year and is staffed by volunteers. Radio Horton does not receive any funding from the NHS or Government so we rely on donations and support from the community to continue to provide a vital service to patients and people living in residential care. It costs on average of £4,000.00 per year to run Radio Horton. Any donations received are very much appreciated!

Donations will go towards the running costs of the station, including the maintenance of studios, our broadcasting licenses, insurance, production and provision of audio and music, upkeep and maintenance of our outside broadcast vehicle and equipment used at community events, as well as a whole host of other areas.

UK taxpayers are also eligible for Gift Aid, a Government initiative that increases the value of any donations to Radio Horton, allowing us to reclaim basic rate tax on a donation made to us. Find out more about Gift Aid on the Gov.uk website.

If you would like to assist with our fundraising efforts, whether through holding a self-sponsored fundraiser, event or campaigning/promoting the positive work of Radio Horton, we would love to hear from you. We would be glad to help in any way possible, in providing you with promotional tools and on-air interviews, or online press coverage to raise awareness of your projects and activities. Please contact us.
